How to get washboard abs quickly

How many times, do you look at the great bodies of guys in the movies; and wish that you too had a great body like them. A lot, I guess. One of the most striking features of a great body is the abs. According to a recent study, the most appealing part of the male body was found to be a well toned ab. Most women, who took part in the survey said hat, it was actually washboard abs, which turned them on.
However, most of us find it hard to get washboard abs. This is because, in contrast to popular belief, developing toned abs is not much about the abs exercises which you do but is about how much you devote both towards cardio workouts, as well as your diet. One of the most important aspects in your endeavor to washboard abs is to boost up your metabolism rate.
The following are a few major steps which you need to take up, in order to get great washboard abs:
1. Focus on your diet. Make sure that you restrain yourself from having carbohydrates in the evening. This is because, anything that you eat around this period, would be stored up as fat. You should also see to it, that you restrict your calorie intake, in between 2,000 to 2,500 calories per day.
2. Water is a wonder medicine for all those who wish to have great abs, or are trying to lose weight. Make sure that you drink at least two to three liters of water everyday. Water is a non calorie source of filling up your stomach that helps in keeping you feels fuller for a longer period of time. It also boosts up your metabolism, by flushing out toxins from your body. Another thing that you can do is drink ice cold water, which would help in burning more calories. This is because, the body has to heat up the cold water and for this, it uses up the calories stored inside your body.
3. In order to get washboard abs, the best thing to do is high intensity interval training. Most people I have met, who have washboard abs vouch for its success. The ideal high intensity interval training would include a few steps. The first step involves Warm-up for around three to four minutes at a light jog or fast walk. The second step involves running at a pace of around 8 mi/hr for a minute. Thereafter, walk at a pace of 4 mi/hr for one and a half minutes. Now, run at a pace of around 10 mi/hr for a minute or so. After that, walk at a pace of around 4 mi/hr for one and a half minutes. Repeat the four steps for an intense twenty minute workout.
Apart from the above steps, you should also focus on non calorie foods, in order to get those washboards abs. stay away from junk foods and carbonated drinks and eat healthy.
